Welcome to my next carefully curated Tasmanian Art Retreat - Where we will enjoy this quaint 100 year old hotel in the remote north east town of Winnaleah. You will have your very own bedroom and a private detached bathroom just across the hall in this gorgeous old historical building, along with a full Art studio for us to create our beautiful Blooms.
Everything is included except your flights, art materials and 1 lunch and 1 dinner. We have made sure that you get a day to travel in and out plus a FULL 5 days in workshop mode with me.
You will be comfortable in our own beautiful bedroom complete with luxury linens and a plush mattress topper for the best nights sleep. A light filled studio space complete with easels and boards for your use. Transfers between Launceston (airport or city) and the venue are included.
At night, we dine in house (except for our final night) and can cater to suit all dietary needs. There are beautiful walks surrounding the hotel to truly experience the beauty of the area before or after class or sink into the Chesterfield couches with a wine, whiskey or a hot chocolate by the fire instead.
If you are keen to come on your own, don't worry, we have many people that join us on their own. Please note that if you opt for a shared room (twin single beds) you attract a $300 discount. Some rooms are located on the upper level and include stairs, so please contact us if you have mobility issues.

Retreat Brief
Sunday
We pick you up at 3.30pm from the LAUNCESTON AIRPORT or a nearby hotel and return you to the airport by 11am on the final day. Flights are not included and are to be organised by you (LAUNCESTON AIRPORT). Please note our pick up and drop off times when booking your flights as there is only 1 pick up time. Travel Insurance is highly recommended.
Monday - Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday - Friday
10am–3pm - Painting Blooms in studio - full details will be revealed in 2025.
We will be working from images of your favourite blooms- will also have still life arrangements of blooms which will give you the shapes and composition for your artwork.
Retreat Inclusions
- Transfers to and from the venue at Winnaleah & a excursion out of the studio
- 6 nights comfortable accommodation in your own private room with detached private individual ensuites for each guest
- meals (except 1 lunch and 1 dinner)
- Sketching and painting in the studio on site with Kerry Bruce Art
Cancellation/refunds
This trip relies heavily on group numbers. Therefore, it is necessary to charge a cancellation fee as outlined below in the event that you decide to cancel. If we decide to cancel the trip at any time we will issue you with a FULL refund. We are not responsible for expenses incurred in the preparation of trips (even cancelled trips), such as airline tickets, travel delays, flight cancellations. There is no refund if you arrive late or decide to leave early. Deposits secure your place and are non-refundable.
In the event that government travel restrictions prevent travel, you will be issued with a credit to be used at any Kerry Bruce Art workshop or Art Retreat or artwork.
Please note our cancellation charges are a $500 non refundable fee which is part of your deposit paid of $995.
Cancellation up to 10 January 2025 - $500 non refundable admin fee regardless of reason for cancellation.
Balance of Art retreat payment is due on 10 January 2025.
Cancellation from 11 January – 1 March 2025 - 50% of trip cost refunded, less $500 non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation from 1 March 2025 - Retreat date being Florals & Blooms 25 May 2025 and 18 May 2025 for Landscapes No refunds.

Your artwork will arrive safe and sound - we promise. Every piece gets wrapped in quality bubble wrap, then packed into a custom-made box that's built just for it. Because the last thing we want is for your new favourite piece to arrive anything less than perfect.

Your artwork ships within 3 business days and typically arrives in 3-4 weeks. Everything is lovingly packed by specialist couriers in sustainable, recyclable materials and fully insured in transit. Returns
If you'd like to return your purchase for any reason, contact Kerry within 7 days at kerry@kerrybruceart.com.au or 0418 463 207 and we'll happily arrange it. Artwork must be returned in original packaging and condition. Shipping costs aren't refundable. Read our full returns policy here.
