NATURE 1 - 28 April 2026
My work is an exploration of emotion through nature—where blooms, landscapes and wildlife become vessels for expression beyond words. Each piece is less about capturing a literal scene and more about translating an inner state, a fleeting feeling, or a moment of stillness into visual form.
Flowers, in their stages of opening and fading, mirror cycles of vulnerability, growth, and renewal. Landscapes serve as emotional terrains—expansive, shifting, and deeply personal—while wildlife embody movement, freedom, and the quiet tension between grounding and escape.
Through expressive mark-making, layered colour, and intuitive composition, I allow each work to unfold organically. Rather than controlling the outcome, I respond to the canvas, letting instinct guide the process. This creates a dialogue between intention and spontaneity, where imperfections and unpredictability are embraced.
Ultimately, these works invite viewers to pause, feel, and connect—whether with their own memories, emotions, or a sense of wonder found in the natural world.
